Title: Schur Multipliers, Integrability, and Powerful Subgroups in Finite and Pro-p Groups.

Abstract:The Schur multiplier is an important group invariant, closely connected to central extensions of a group. In this talk, I will present work on finite and pro-p groups, focusing on two main themes. The first part is about the Schur multiplier, including isoclinism, bounds on Schur multipliers, and criteria for realizing finite abelian p-groups as Schur multipliers of non-abelian p-groups. The second part deals with certain extension problems, including the existence of powerful subgroups and the integrability of finite groups.Tea and snacks will be served before the talk.
